Original definition was meant to show affection towards something or show comparison to. Now, it is a meaningless word for people, or overused on social networking sites.

Original: I like the way the car drives. (or) It looks like we will be early for the movie.

Meaningless version: So like, uh, he, like said he wants to like go with you to like the concert or something.

Click like for me because I demand it.

Definition #3: A word people (usually teenagers) overuse because they think it’s cute.
