(n.) A Romanian love song which translates literally into "Love From the Linden Trees". Performed by O-Zone, the song is used in the popular flash movie "Numa Numa Dance". The real title of the song is often ignored in favor of the newer one, and is unfortunately virtually forgotten
"Love from the Linden Trees" a line in, and also the title of, a Romanian song often refered to as the Numa Numa Dance song. Performed by the band O-Zone, though I have found information saying Haiducii ("The Outlaws") were the composers.
Vrei sa pleci dar nu ma, nu ma iei,
Nu ma nu ma eie, nu ma, nu ma, nu ma iei.
Chipul tau si dragostea din tei,
Mi-amintesc de ochii tai.
translated: You want to leave but you don't want don't want to take me, don't want don't want to take me, don't want don't want don't want to take me.
Your face and the love from the linden trees,
And I remember your eyes.
The South Asian Equivalent of "Sambo" or "Uncle Tom". An individual considered to be excessively obedient or servile to white people. These people are seen as individuals who prize their "model minority status" over actually standing up to people being racist to themselves or other people from the South Asian Diaspora. This is not to be confused with an "oreo" or "coconut" (which is a derogatory term for south asians who have caucasian mannerisms).
Look Gunga Din, stop excusing white people for looking at you whenever they smell something funny
The sacred moment when divine consciousness emerged and awakened from an otherwise disorderly and chaotic universe.
A spiritual or energetic awakening which can be though of as being reborn, an individualās Epiphany Of The Din could be their rise to spiritual and temporal awareness.
