Short for "body-conscious." Fashion movement characterized by tight body-hugging clothing; also, way to describe clothes in body-con style.

Girl 1: This skirt is really cute, but it's so tight that you can see every little bulge.

Girl 2: Well it IS body-con - just wear spanx underneath and it'll look great.

body horror

A genre – for film, books, comics, etc. – in which the main feature is the graphically depicted destruction or degeneration of a human body or bodies. This usually involves one or more of the following; aliens, bloating, blood, bones, fungi, humiliation, involuntary transformation, parasites, puss, screaming, sex, torture and xenogenesis . It is not for the faint of heart of weak of stomach.

The movie Alien is an example of body horror. So are most of the movies from Cronenberg. And early books from Clive Barker. Honey BooBoo might also count.
