Hotline Affect

The affect that takes place generally in a work environment that is predominately male in which the few women that are in the environment take on a much higher level of attractiveness due to the highly offset penis to vagina ratio. The women in this situation are aware of this and often act very slutty and carry themselves in a way that draws attention to their assets.

Guy #1: "Dude (woman's name) looked so hot today, I would totally fuck her in the copy room."

Guy#2: "No way man! Its the Hotline Affect blurring your vision!!"

The Leonard Affect

When one has a strong affection/liking to someone and will make minuscule attempts to pursue said person. When the subject is faced with minor discouragement/realization that effort or time is required to obtain said person, subject will give up and move on, repeating the process.

Object of affection

Essence given to an inanimate object due to its relation to a good memory or memories. Usually people save these items and take care of them for a long time because of the emotional value given to the object

Person 1: John won’t ever sell that old Ford Bronco, won’t he?

Person 2: It was given to him by his late father when he just turned 17, he died two months later after he gave him the Bronco. It’s one of the few memories that he has of him, and it’s now an object of affection. There’s no price tag to the memories he lived in that suv.
