Gutlara - Noun: A place usually located in a slums or "hole". What is considered in western society as a 'ghetto'. Usually depicts poor areas.

Adjective - Usually used to present the idea of a 'ghetto' or 'poor' area. Used to standardize a specific place.

This word was first used in this context in Trinidad and Tobago and is a slang term in specific third world countries.
