Dank is an adjective used to describe how powerful or how advanced something may be. something of mighty greatness and amazement. Something that can be described as a fun activity, something very good and pleasurable.

Coincidentally this word means one thing and it’s opposite.

1.) It can mean musty, damp and uncomfortably drenched

or it can mean,

2.) Very pleasantly sticky, gooey and deliciously trichome covered in THC (And maybe CBD, CGB, THCa, etc.) cannabis flower.

1.) "Your bedroom is more of an appropriate environment for mushrooms; it’s so dank in here!"

2.) "The buds at the new dispensary are freaking dank as sheet!"

Dank as used in the stoner world means that the weed is really good - but it comes from a time long ago when Marijuana had to come to the US from far lands and passed through many hands before it got to the seller you got it from. Everyone wanted to know "what is it?" Referring to strain name. The reply was "It's DANK" Don't Ask - Nobody Knows.
