The result of being coerced into “1 to 2” alcoholic beverages after a night at work. These 1 or 2 beverages then become an evening/morning of intense intoxication with drug usage. This effect will indefinitely result in multiple “afters” and wanting to die or quit your job the next morning.

I got hit with The Fredy Effect last night. I was 2 hours late to work and I want to die.

The Sands Effect

The Sands Effect occurs when you spend a night out drinking and get lucky enough to bring a girl back to your place. You only got the girl over because you were drunk and loose and free of any pressure. But because you were drunk your cock stays limp as if it were filled with sand. And because of this, sex is not and option. You go out the next night without drinking hoping to get the same girl over once more. You see the girl and at first she seems willing, but sober you is not good enough to get the girl over. So that night you go home with a cock harder than a rock, but with no female, only your left hand. And that ladies and gentleman is the sands effect.

One week into college Mateo had suffered The Sands Effect on three different occasions.

Piaget Effect

The Jean Piaget Effect, also known as the Piaget Effect or the Lore Master Effect, is a psychological effect found in the school of thought known as Constructivism in which the style of speech in an environment has an effect on changing the speech patterns of the individual. This is an off-shoot of Piaget's definition of "accommodation". The process of accommodation involves altering one's existing schemas, or ideas, as a result of new information or new experiences . In this case, the effect is mostly subconscious and expressed through literacy.

After attending some college courses, the Piaget Effect was causing Vinnford to structure his conversations like they were essays and the only way to turn it off was to watch Trailer Park Boys.

Bin Effect

The process by which an eBay seller, after seeing another seller's Buy it Now (BiN) price, lists their own similar item for a higher price.

Responsible for most eBay price inflations and the reselling market in general.
Doesn't have to apply to eBay, can also apply to brick-and-mortar stores and markets.

I can never find deals at pawn shops or thrift stores anymore due to the bin effect.
