Bit

A bit is a quick to sometimes medium length (If it's really funny or you get too carried away) joke, act, gesture, character performance, or anything you can do which is out of the normal for a reserved personality or formal conduct, intended to be humorous or to spice up a social setting.

Examples of bits include, but are not limited to:
Pretending a slow moving car is going to run you over, lying down and declaring "It's all over! Kiss me gently Angel of Death!"
When asked if you are a racist, and are comfortably not a racist, you put on a smug face anyway, raise an eyebrow and say "Yes".
"Bro are you actually a fan of Ben Shapiro?"

"No, but if I shill for him he pays me in sexual favours!"

"Wait really?"

"Nah man It's just a bit lol"

Bits

Originates from the vernacular of South Londoners, a synonym for "drugs". Can be used with an adjective to specify the particular type of drug, e.g. Medium bits in relation to MDMA. Alternatively, a noun modifier may be used to stipulate the type e.g. Cardboard bits for Weed.

Those whose use the word "Bits" have also been known to exclaim the word "oi", with the tendency to prolongate the word in conversation.
Will: "Shaun, have you been on the bits again you fiend".

Chris" Oiiiiiii, get your Bits out".
