Mod abuse

A forum, chat or discord mod who abuses their power. This is usually done by inconsistently targeting and singling out users that said moderator does not like or post they disagree with, all the while feigning that they are fair and impartial. Forum mods are generally cowards and will use the umbrella term such as "low effort", "trolling" or "Break of forum policy" as their reasoning for removal of users post or banning of a user. If said user ask a mod for more specific reason, they often do not answer or if they are really vindictive might insult said user or say refer to forum rules. Generally, these mods get off on feeling powerful and since they don't answer to anyone can get away with their behavior.

Example of Mod abuse

Poster 1: Makes a detailed post on say reddit highlighting why they are against Aragon being reimagined as a black man.

Forum mod: Deletes post and makes up some bs that it is "low effort"

Poster 1: Ask forum mod for an explanation. (Gets no reply)

5 minutes later

Poster 1 Banned from subreddit.

A TV show which is supposed to be educational but it's basically just Richard Hammond blowing stuff up with chemicals.

It's shown in schools a lot of the time but that's alright if you like watching people getting tasered and trying to swim through golden syrup.

"add to dictionary" abuse

Refers to where you impatiently/imperiously refuse to correct your spelling-mistakes when composing text on on a word-processor, but instead just click "add to dictionary" for each error to make said pesky intervals of squiggly red underlinings disappear.

Not only does "add to dictionary" abuse result in your literary compositions' remaining full of mistakes, but it also potentially harms the next person who attempts to use said word-processor, since your spell-checker will now not "catch" many misspellings that this subsequent typist may make, and thus he may unwittingly not do a proper job of proofreading his letters and memos, either.

Urban-Dictionary Abuser

Someone who uses the urban dictionary to find out the meaning of NSFW or CURSE words.
They usually doesn't have an older sibling and don't understand the definition on the Merriam-Webster

These type of people believe that the urban dict is a reliable source of information.

Symphonic Post-Apocalyptic Reindeer-Grinding Christ-Abusing Extreme War Pagan Fennoscandian metal

A subgenre of heavy metal taking inspiration from Symphonic Black Metal and features lyrics about life in Finland and the mistrust of Finnish Christianity, and glorifying the Warlike Pagan lifestyles of the neighboring countries' history. The lyrics focus on the solution to the mundane Finnish lifestyle being the Apocalypse. The only band that plays this currently is Impaled Rektum.
