Someone who you can come to for advice. They ALWAYS give you the right kind. If they don't then they feel HORRIBLE for it. They make you smile WHENEVER your around them. You trust them with everything you have in you. They know you better than you know yourself. You can give them ONE look and they know what you are saying. You never run out of things to say, if you do then you just laugh about it afterwards. Best friends are everywhere for every one. and most of the time they are TWO totally different people, but it doesn't matter because you have the besssst time ever when you are around them. You have little secrets that are dumb. You have little groups that make no sense, but its so funny.

Platonic friend

A very very very close friend of the opposite sex. A woman is a man's platonic friend if she's his best friend (or a very close friend of his), but nothing more.

And yes, contrary to what's been said earlier, men CAN have platonic friends, just like women.

person1: Ashley and Brandon are so close to each other, they spend all of their time together. I'm sure they're dating!

Person2: Not necessarily, i asked Ashley yesterday and she told me that there was nothing between them, they're just platonic friends.

I'm friends with that!

East Bay slang term, indicating familiarity with and affection towards any given subject. Can also be used in the negative, as in "I'm SO not friends with that" to express distaste for the subject. Similar to being down with that.

"Stay home and smoke a blunt with you instead of going to school? I'm hella good friends with that."

"Dude, they wanted me to stay until midnight, sitting on my thumbs. I'm NOT friends with that."
