Nigga
Bass is a term used to describe a type of
bass that is characterized by frequencies centered in the 50-80hz region. The
bass is also of a high
Q variety and tends to linger past the initial note. This causes the infamous boominess that travels well beyond one's car stereo (the traditional domain of nigga
bass) and into surrounding vehicles. Nigga bass has these characteristics because cheap low quality equipment can recreate the boominess.
In other words, nigga bass is sloppy, "one-note," uncontrolled bass.
Nigga bass is very common in R&B,
Rap, Hip-hop, and some of the more recent pop music, especially the type enjoyed by preteens and tweens.
