cross-talk

when you can hera a person or a computer's modem on another line, only you can hear it on your line too. Crosstalk is when another signal on another line is induced onto your line. Crosstalk happens whenever wires in a telephone cable are not twisted/twisted loosely, also happened on telegraph lines earlier in this century (1900's)

I can clearly make out a neighbors conversation because of the cross-talk on the line.

Dick talk

When a guy isn't that into a girl but she is really into him and the guy decides to disregard any rational thoughts such as how bitchy the girl is. Instead the guy just decides that she is hot and let's go. Disregarding rational thought and only thinking of sexual desires.

Josh: Gosh Tony, I thought you weren't that into her.
Tony: Yeah but she's hot. It's like my mind and my dick are playing a game of chess and my dick is winning. It's nothing but dick talk.

we need to talk

How someone kicks off a conversation where it will be only they talking, and you sweating. Just the mere mention of these words can frighten your partner or employees.


The best comeback is indifference to what they're saying, and a hearty "Fuck you". Or, alternatively, plan to do something that they'll really like as soon as they say this, then, at the end of it, say this to them, and fuck them off.

When someone is extremely optimistic while on cocaine and says things or makes promises that they don't follow through with

Person on cocaine: "I really think I'm going to start eating healthy and working out again!"
Sober person: "oh, that's just coke talk."
