It's about resources and wealth and controlling who has them. Because if you control who has all the wealth... You can then turn around an say 'Well I have all the wealth because I have the bestest most extra special values and NOT because I prevent people who don't share my values from gaining wealth by any means necessary 😉😉 (Up to and including stealing, murder, enslavement, subjugation, lying)' So, they're going to swoop in, steal all of the gas, enrich themselves, and what happens to the Palestinians?
