Cloneversation

Having the same conversation over and over again.

When someone repeatedly, and on separate occassions, tells the same story, mentions the same fact, raises the same point of argument, etc. Cloneversation applies whether or not the repeater knows they have talked about the same thing with you before.

Cloak of ego

When people in administrative, leadership, and coaching roles disguise their incompetence with ego and hubris, often successfully warding off questions or criticism until they have done significant damage to the business.

"Leaders" who use the cloak of ego are often on to their next job before the damage they did at the last one is fully realized.

"Man, the head football coach at my alma mater is just killing the program. He can't win, he can't recruit..."

"Doesn't matter. He has a cloak of ego. Everyone buys into it; the administration, the boosters...you're stuck for five years, easily."

Clothventurer

Any small child that emerges from within a clothing rack at any department store. And with the realization that they've been discovered, quickly scurries off into another clothing rack---laughing in the process.

I couldn't find my little niece the other day while we were in sears. when all of a sudden, she emerged from a pants rack, and quickly scurried into the shirts rack; thus I realized she was quite the clothventurer.

My little nephew clothventured his way into the employee lounge.

Clompliment

When you're trying to give someone a compliment, and then realise it was more of an insult. Generally followed by backtracking and apologies.

"That skirt is great at hiding your fat thights!"

"!!!!"

"Oh my gosh I'm so sorry - that was a bit of a clompliment"

Cloud Out

Not quite a rain out. When an event is cancelled because of the threat of inclement weather that never happens.

They canceled it because of the rain, but it’s not raining.

Damn, those Cloud Outs suck!
