Black music

Music that is made (or was created) by Black people. The evolution of Black music typically follows the following pattern:

1) Black people create a new form of musical art
2) It begins a rapid evolution in the Black community
3) It starts receiving attention from the media
4) Most (not all) of the White population reacts with ridicule, fear and/or hatred. However, many Whites react with curiosity and admiration.
5) A corporation finds and/or creates a white artist as an alternative to the new Black art
6) Its popularity increases among Whites
7) Black people create some new art and gradually move away from the older art
8) Historical myths are created, which have the effect of marginalizing the Black contributions to the art and exaggerating the White contributions
Examples of Black music include any combination of the following:

Drumming, singing, chanting, dancing, the blues, jazz music, country music, rock music, funk, soul, heavy metal, reggae, R&B, calypso, zydeco, and Hip Hop

Historical Fact: The origins of literally all and any music can be traced to Black people.

Historical Fact: The evolution of all musical instruments can be traced to a Black and/or African invention

good music

Good music is what you make it. But good music is definitely not the shit that you hear on the radio. Good music involves actual talent and good lyrics. You not only hear good music but you feel it too. :)
MGMT, Brand New, Taking Back Sunday, Sick of Sarah, and Of Mice And Men are GOOD music

musical prozac

A cheap, musical alternative to prozac, useful for curing depression. Musical prozac consists of much time spent listening to most excellent tunes until you no longer feel like shit.
Friend 1: Last night kind of sucked ass. Sure, after all that ginorade I got that free welcome mat and that Johnny Cash poster I always wanted, but I missed the chance to have a meaningful goodbye with my friend! And she's moving away! I'm so depressed now. I need some prozac but I don't have health insurance because this country doesn't give a fuck about my well-being.

Friend 2: No worries, man. Just take some musical prozac.

Friend 1: What do you recommend?

Friend 2: Well, you could pop some XTC and listen to trance. Or how about "I got a feeling" by Black Eyed Peas? Anything by Matt and Kim would do the trick.

Friend 1: Dude, all those recommendations sound kind of gay.

Friend 2: Yeah but 'gay' isn't just about what you dream of being with me, douchebag, it also means the same as 'happy', and it means that for a reason.

Devil's music

Any kind of rock

The term came in the 50's when Elvis' hip swinging led to objections in the christian societys. The church then linked rock and roll to the "inapproporiate" hip jolting, wich further led to blasphemy and the devil.

The term was discontinued in the 60's, when all the popular rock bands formed. (Pink Floyd, Jefferson Airplane etc.)
If he has rebelled against God far enough to listen to the devil's music, i sure is rebel enough to try drugs!
