Term used to describe the act of reevaluating your own political ideologies and biases. Ironically, most often used by leftists asserting that someone's opinions are invalid because they did not arrive at the "correct" conclusion.

"Jane doesn't think it's transphobic to not want to date trans people. Rather than discuss this, I told her to self crit or quit."

Self-Romance

The act of physically pleasuring oneself, privately or in the company of others, without regard to anyone elses pleasure or satisfaction. Because self-love is the most romantic kind. Oftentimes self-romance is a long drawn out masturbation phase accompanied with unecessary stimuli such as candles, or soft music.

After strolling through the mall and seeing so many beautiful women, all Bill could think about is going home and indulging in some self-romance.

Selfie

A symptom of the current narcissistic epidemic whereby the subject takes a filtered, highly polished (often completely over-exposed) photograph of themselves and uploads it to instagram, facebook or some other social media outlet. Its often motivated by a need for adulation, attention or validation from ones "followers" or "friends" and is sometimes accompanied with some self-deprecating comment about how "shit" they look.

Girl - "Jeez, I've hundreds of friends on facebook, instagram and MySpace. Gonna have to do a clean out"

Guy - "Yeah? Strange that each and every Selfie churned out by yourself couldn't have been taken by one of your many adoring friends.
