In some cases, an enemy player can be so good with base equipment, it makes the Pay To Loser ragequit because his advantage is meaningless. Typically, these guys are whales, and crush lobbies with their $200 weapons and gamepasses.

Get the Loser Freak mug.Loser's gambit is often associated with gambling in casinos, however, it can be applied to competitive online games as well, along with difficult games; whereas a player is on a losing streak, and overall having a bad time, so they feel obligated to play matches/get killed in game until winning.
Not to be confused with regular "try and try again" philosophy, as having a loser's gambit is often after being tilted (aka raging) and losing one's composure.

The condition oscillates from day to day. They may be a winner in some dimensions, but occasionally loser attributes often emerge when the universe throws the right (wrong) things their way.
