Sport-season friend

A Sport-season friend is somewhat like a fair-weather friend, except you're only friends with them during/because of a certain sport season. They mostly come in the form of teammates, coaches, or fans. Sport-season friends are usually people that you would not have otherwise gotten to know, so integrating them into your primary group of friends is often difficult. While the friendship occasionally extends into other parts of the year, it is at its strongest during the sports season. They are very prominent among high school athletes--especially when there are age/social rank differences.

Kid 1: Hey, there goes Jesse. Why didn't you say "hi"?
Kid 2: Well, he's just a sport-season friend, anyhow.

best friend love
it's that " i can trust you with anything " ..kind of love . that " no matter what you do or don`t do, there will never be a moment when i`m not by your side .. at least in spirit " see best friend. our kind of love is the sort that movies are made of and we`re the starring roles - laughing and dancing and drinking and singing and crying - when theres no way to describe the way you love a friend - and it's not a sexual love.

best friend love needs it`s own term because of the two of us.

A same or opposite-sex friend crush on someone you admire and want to befriend. This person possess qualities you look for in a friend. Although you've never officially met them, you consider them a future friend and will go to drastic measures to reach true friendship.

"Hey, Danielle. Where are you studying tonight?"

"Oh, hey Katie. I checked out facebook today, and my secret friend, James, works at Starbucks. I overheard him talking to a friend in lecture today saying he has to work tonight. I think I'm gonna hit up Starbucks later!"

"NIIIIICE. I can see your Secret Friendship really blossoming tonight. I'll go with you for moral support."
