Dog owners and their companion animals have become subject to growing restriction on their movements in public spaces such as parks. This term refers to the legal banishment of dogs from areas where they previously roamed free by morphing the word "bark" and the policy of apartheid under the previous South African regime. This policy restricted black citizens to living in areas such as the one depicted in the film District 9.

Prior to the policy of abarkheid, my dog Nikita and I could go anywhere we wanted to at Fort Funston.

Abarktion

The term abarktion is a playon word for abortion. It would be used for people who's dogs have become pregnant but don't want to keep the puppies. Mostly when the owner didnt approve of the dog getting pregnant in the first place.

Owner's friend: hey, hows Princess doing?

Owner: not good, i think she needs an abarktion. Some neighbors dog got her pregnant.

Owner's friend: dang, sorry to hear that.

My upstairs neighbors who let their dog out onto their patio upstairs and barks incessantly for hours. My apartment is luxury, management busted them several times regarding this. So many complaints. I never did. Sound resonates across the lake. I have at least 6 police with K-9 and homeland security in my building. I was studying and had had enough. Ran upstairs ding dong.
