Trell should be taken as a more of a relaxed form of troll. It can be used when you are indifferent on an action that someone is performing, but you want to let the other person know that you have acknowledged the person's endeavors. The main difference between trell and troll is that the latter takes more of an active stance; you're acknowledging the person's actions and, in a sense, condoning it.
