An individual who is distressingly committed, to the point of failing to eat food, sleep or associate with other carbon based life forms, to building authentic looking and working cockpit mock-ups, both military and civilian, of aircraft, spacecraft, water-borne craft and ground vehicles using computer simulation.

After losing a few pounds, Del, an avid simulist in the throws of a new aircraft cockpit build, was reminded by his sister the only thing he would be flying if he didn't eat would be a pine box.

(2) The feeling of frustration you experience when the stimulus you anticipated receiving wasn't as stimulating as you thought it would be, or even worse, the stimulus was given to someone else.
