Ria is normally used as an insult for the worst triplet, a Ria is often very tall and a borderline alcoholic.
The term is mostly used in Tórshavn, and the most common place to find a Ria is in her natural habitat, Thaistyle, she will often go up to strangers on a saturday night blacked out drunk and ask if they prefer rice or noodles.
