Prep is not something you can define by what they wear, it is something that is defined by their overall personality and mentality to life. Yes preps do enjoy looking nice, but it doesn't really matter where they get their nice clothes. They can shop at Noordstroms,Abercrombie and Fitch, Hollister, JCrew, Polo, or they can go to WalMart and find something they like. They like being comfortable and do not care where they buy things to feel that way. They do not have to live/vacation/go to school in new england, they could live in,say, Maryland and still be a prep. They are normally very nice people who have many friends, and because of this they are also hated on. But it is really only because people do not know them.

A group of kids that think they are "TOP DOG" of everything. They date a new person like every 2 weeks, they make fun of "unpopular kids", they wear revealing clothes, and think they are so sexy and what not. They wear:
-Hollister
-Abercrombie
-Abercrombie&Fitch
-Areopostale
-American Eagle
ectt...

They gossip WAAYY too much... Most of them are pretty spoiled...The "top prep" is usually followed by the rest of the others...

They are just flat chested sluts that think they are all that.

sombody who does, wears, listens to, and says whatever happens to be "in style". They have a tendency to talk trash on anyone who openly disagrees with their look on life. Some can be nice though. The old definition was somebody who goes to a prep school, but nobody really uses it that way anymore. Preps have HUGE egos. They think they "rule the school" when really most people hate them. Most of their life is based on the school(sports ,clubs, etc.). Preps have a tendancy to use each other when it comes to "drama". Mostly girls, but some boys.

I wish that bitchy prep would just stop the shit-talking!

Things commonly worn by preps include: Abercrombie and fitch, American Eagle, Hollister, Louis Vuitton, LaCoste, Victoria's Secret, Juicy, etc.

Prep: Like, OMG, like, what the fuck are you wearing? Like omg your shirt is like soooo out of season.
Real Person: ...goodbye.
Prep: OMG Like... screw you! I'm going to go into victoria's secret and buy some more lingerie so people will think I have a boyfriend.
