The water which many men have been baptized in on a 'hinge date' or 'tinder date'. This water is usually a shower, bathtub, swimming pool, or dirty hot tub ect.
Ex. 1 "Don't dunk your head in the hinge-water. You might catch feelings or HIV."
Ex. 2 "Oh man, did you hear Jake took a simp dip in the hinge-water at that one girls exes house?", "Yeah and he got friend zoned right after that."
Ex. 3"Bro I had to take a shower as soon as I got home from that date. I realized her hot tub was the hinge-water."

When you, the host of a party are completely ignored by the guests due to other party goers taking all of the attention. Yet you feel a sense of confidence knowing the entire party relies on your efforts to continue.
I spent the entire party deep hinging, doing the dishes and serving the food while everyone else got to enjoy themselves.

To ‘Hinge it’ is to be out of control on recreational drugs.
The phrase was coined in Carterton, Oxfordshire in the United Kingdom in the early 1990’s and has been used by Ravers and Clubbers in Oxfordshire ever since. The term ‘Hinge it’ was first used after a young man was observed being so out of it that he thought that he had hinges in his arms and legs. He is ‘hinging it’ they said.
