Gagging

A natural reflex that keeps us from sticking foreign objects down our throats. The sensation is similar to choking. You may experience retching or even vomiting if gagging is prolonged. Happens quite often at the dentist.

I couldn't stop gagging when the doctor stuck a tongue depressor in my mouth.

Equivalent to 'pack of wolves' or 'school of fish'

A term used when someone feels the dire need to have or experience something in particular, almost to the point where they require it in order to function.

Commonly used in the early parts of the evenings and mostly at the beginning of the weekend.
