An illness transmitted by reading good books and watching good shows etc.
Symptoms include:

-excessive crying
-shrieking
-insanity
-aggression
-rolling on the ground and clutching yourself

-mood swings
-writing of fanfics
-recommending book/show etc to others

There is no known cure.
If you suspect someone has become a fangirl, please call the ambulance immediately.

Person 1: Hey do you know where Christine is? I haven't seen her in a few days
Person 2: I heard she's in the hospital under isolation.
Person 1: What happened to her?
Person 2: She has been diagnosed as 'Percy Jackson Fangirl'
Person 1: Oh shit I started reading that series
