It normally means "Away from keyboard," meaning that the person is not currently on the keyboard and focusing on the screen. There is a deviation to this. If you are playing Valorant, AFK means "At the f*ckin keyboard," meaning that the person is about to kill you and you need to stay focused.

Similarly, going to bed whilst having not watched YouTube during the day is as unpleasant as going to bed whilst being hungry. This phenomenon is more commonly experienced by persons who have subscribed to lots of YouTube channels in a row (i.e. 600+ channels) compared to those who subscribe to few to no YouTube channels.
I thought I could take a short break from YouTube videos, but now I'm hit with serious AFK vibes—I've missed out on countless of new YouTube videos while I was away from YouTube!
