There are two common types of fuckboys - Social fuckboys and sexual fuckboys.
Sexual fuckboys are the less common but more popularized type. They solely use women for sex and will do anything to obtain it. However, social fuckboys, the more common type of fuckboy, is less of an asshole. A social fuckboy ignores and forgets about his male friends while attempting to attempt females. They will also act drastically different and change themselves and their personalities around women and girls. Although much less obivous to women, social fuckboys are extremely annoying to their friends.

Girl 1: Oh my god, this guy I've been texting is a complete fuckboy, he's already asked for nudes.

Manic Pixie Fuckboy

Manic Pixie Fuckboy is a subcategory of Manic Pixie Dream Boy. While a Manic Pixie Dream Boy is a trope that derives from Y/N Wattpad fanfiction and Korean dramas, where the male love interest is a seemingly perfect, albeit pretty empty projection of protagonist's wants and fantasies (see Himbo), used to further the protagonist's story, a Manic Pixie Fuckboy is a more complex ans flawed character. A Manic Pixie Fuckboy on the other hand is elusive, almost Byronic in nature, but possesses an other-worldly and effervescent character that is hard to pinpoint. One of the characters that best embodies this is Felix from Saltburn, played by Jacob Elordi.
