Litters 'n Critters received international attention in July 2012 when Fed Ex shipped almost 60 dogs from Labrador to Halifax to find new homes. The dogs were known as "Mushkadoodles" or "LnC dogs" through out the media and world.
Litters 'n Critters have won several small humaine awards and in Oct 2012 was recognized as one of the top 3 100% volunteer animal rescues in Canada, making the mark as the #1 volunteer rescue in Atlantic Canada.
