For example; stitching a severe cut yourself, setting a dislocated joint yourself, casting broken limbs yourself, practicing surgical operations on yourself or illegally upon others, illegally sharing or obtaining prescribed pharmaceutical drugs or using natural remedies such as plants or oils to treat symptoms for any aches, pains, poisons, or traumas.

Since John cannot afford health insurance or to see a doctor, he practices Frontier Medicine to treat any injuries he sustains himself.
