Cyber Rafiki

1. A person who pops up on IM at the least expected moment; especially if they pop up right after they said "g2g" and logged off. This is similar to how Rafiki suddenly disappears and reappears at random moments in Disney's 'The Lion King'. Particularly in the scene where Simba is chasing Rafiki through the jungle, prior to Mufasa's appearance in the sky.

2. When you email someone a question, and as soon as you hit send, they pop up on IM and answer your question. This is called "a Cyber Rafiki", or "Pulling a Cyber Rafiki on someone". Just like how Rafiki knows the answers to all of Simba's questions about his father Mufasa.

1. "Bob is like a Cyber Rafiki. He always says he's g2g, logs off, and then he's back online two seconds later"

2. Jim: "I just emailed Heather with that question and she pulls a cyber Rafiki on me".

Larry: "What do you mean Jim?"

Jim: "As soon as I hit send, she answers me on IM. I didn't even know she was online. So, random".

cyberschizoid

A word used to describe a particular type of film, television show, book, artwork, music, actor, director or magazine. Cyberschizoid films are usually (but not exclusively) low-budget cult films falling into the horror, sci-fi or exploitation categories.

Famous Monsters of Filmland is the world's longest-running cyberschizoid movie magazine.

cyborging

The action of navigating your environment by sight using the live view screen of the device via its camera mode. Ideally, cupping hands so one can only view whats on screen and adapting to the super close up digital video view.

Them: "Hey quit cyborging around, your going to trip on something."

Me: "Beat it, I'm getting assimilated into the digital" "I see you, whoa, trip on that."

Me: "I can record my cyborgin' too"

Cybermocker

Virtual-based mockery through a website or social media posts, focused on a person, place or thing by posting true and accurate quotes, images, video which serve to shed the "target" of the mockery in a humorous light. A Cybermocker depends heavily on pointing out ironic and contradictory information about a person, particularly if that information was originally created or posted by the "target". Unlike Cyberstalking, which is a crime, there is not an element of anonymity or threat in Cybermocking. Cybermocking is particularly effective at detecting thin skin, pomposity, self importance and embellishment. Cybermocking is a First Amendment protected form of Speech.

Examples of Cybermocker would be someone posting at a John Kerry related site: "I voted for the bill before I voted against it". The author of an article in Slate magazine on the complete "Bushisms" is a Cybermocker.
