An expression typically used parenthetically to indicate that although the person speaking said something extremely gay sounding that they are not necessarily gay when really everyone knows that the truth is they actually are.

The term is no longer effective after doing something extremely gay

Ex. you can't touch a guys penis and say "no homo" because that is infact very homo.
