A sleeper troll is one who has infiltrated into the target online community and 'gone to sleep', sometimes for many months even years.
Often times the sleeper troll may appear to be in general agreement and in group solidarity of belief or sentiment with the targeted online community.
It is usually only after the targeted online community has suffered some form of set back or upset that the sleeper troll shows it's true idenity as a troll pouncing on the opportunity with the intent of provoking other users into an emotional response or of otherwise disrupting normal on-topic discussion.
Troll operatives can be used in varied forms. Hidding behind internet pseudonyms, a troll could be someone employed by political operatives, attorneys in civil letigations, civil rights cases, workers compensation cases, social security case, etc.
A common practice of the troll is the 'gaslighting' technigue:

The phrase come from the phrase bro out, but the act of trolling out or have a troll out, is the act of two trolls arguing on a message board or forum, usually over something of little importance or possibly even relevance to the subject being discussed. The common events seen in a troll out usually involves 2+ people/trolls who are irritated and have nothing better to do than to flame other people without reason.
I was reading the forums today, when I saw two users having a troll out over something insignificant.

Get the trollmug. Skanky Asian chicks that take advantage of guys with no self esteem but have enough money to pay for their expenses while banging someone else. Trolls will often have a drug and/or alcohol problem and look for victims that have a stocked bar or will supply them with drugs. They tell their victims they love them to get them to do what they want.
That chick has three guys on the hook paying her rent, phone and food but she's doing a guy she met at a bar. What a troll.
