Detroit recently lost this "elite" status as of July 2005, but no one there probably is aware of this fact because they have better things to focus on. San Jose: the first capitol of CA, the 10th largest city in the nation, 3rd largest in CA, and largest in the Bay, and not a single aspect of it is any more interesting than this trivia that no one cares about in the first place!!
