A person who registers or acquires a domain name that is confusingly similar to a mark in which another person has rights (via a trademark, for instance); provided the cybersquatter is attempting to take advantage of the goodwill of the trademark holder.

The person who registers kitchen.com is probably not a cybersquatter, while a person who registers marthastewartkitchen.com probably is.

cyberfasting

Taking a break from social networking sites and random time-killing online activities. You still use e-mail and take care of important things (like bills, if you do those online), but avoid instant messaging, YouTube, Twitter, MySpace and Facebook (exceptions: it's the only or best way to get in touch with someone about real-life activities.

The goal is to de-ADD your life and reduce any unhealthy drain on your time and energy so you are more connected to and productive in the real world, ideally making some people happier and healthier who seem addicted to the internet. It can make you more focused and productive.

Being accused of procrastination, stalking/"stalking", having no life, etc. are all signs you need to cyberfast. In some cases, drama magically occurs less and less!

Guy 2: Naw, man, I was just cyberfasting. I get too addicted to cyberspace sometimes! I never get anything done.
Guy 1: Oh, snap--I should do that. Some girl thinks I'm stalking her just because I LOL at all the funny crap she posts all day.

Guy 2: SHE should cyberfast, too.

When one become so obsessed with medical websites on the internet that they diagnose themselves with certain illnesses that more often then not they don't have, thus making the situation worse.

My cyberchondriac episode in May left me with thousands in unnecessary medical fees.

Cyberspace Black Hole

Any web site where, upon entry, hours of time collapse, sucked into infinity as you struggle to break free from the mesmerizing yet senseless, non-productive locale. Often seemingly innocuous on the outside and discovered quite by accident, Cyberspace Black Holes are known to cause unaccountable absences from work, school and important events, and should be considered particularly dangerous for the time-constrained and those who wish to keep their jobs.

After Billy had missed a week of work and no one had heard from him, police broke down his door fearing foul play only to find him sitting at his computer, dehydrated and malnourished but alive, laughing hysterically as he scrolled page after page of the Cyberspace Black Hole he had entered eight days earlier.
