San Ysidro High School

A school of 95% percent Mexicans and the minorities are the white people.

The school has amazing cultural preforming group with their Mariachi Miztli and Grupo Flokorico San Ysidro (GFSY)

Bernie Sanders held a political rally in December of 2019 at the high school which was accompanied by the groups stated above

It’s the last school in California before getting to Mexico and is usually the underdog school.

The school got media recognition for their “valedictorian incident” at their graduation in 2019, but recently have gotten more media coverage all over the state because of Mikey Williams’ 19/20 high school basketball campaign making him the number one ranked freshman in California and ranked number eight in the nation.
