Although it DOESN'T imply a disillusioned connection. It explicitly refers to a coherent, and grounded feeling of mutual connection for both parties. It is also interchangeable with other forms of sentience. Though theoretical, it may apply to the connection a human and extraterrestrial may have. Or the profound connection between human and other forms of intelligent life. For example: the "-senty" in Diversenty relates to sentience as a whole. Thus, diverse sentience. Or "diverse entity". And the connection between them as being heartfelt and true, platonic or otherwise (depends on who is claiming the title). It is not referring to a fetish, nor is it a term for a person who is mentally ungrounded. And it is explicitly mutual and not one-sided. It is a term that refers to a genuine emotional and soulful, interspecies connection.

In this usage, divers describes individuals who enter a community and advocate for change under the banner of diversity, but in ways that center their own perspectives while overlooking the existing culture. The term also implies that diversity may be rhetorically "weaponized" to avoid critique or deeper engagement.
I'm not sure if these divers realize they are chasing away people that have been in our community for years.
