Playing Defense

When someone actively interrupts, blocks, or derails another person’s attempt to flirt, rizz, or joke their way into someone’s heart. Usually done in group settings or livestreams, this is the playful art of stopping your friend from “cooking.” You’re not protecting anyone from danger—you’re protecting them from success.

It’s like being a romantic goalie: your entire job is to stop their shot from landing.
“I was trying to talk to her at the party, but Chris kept playing defense like I owed him rent.”

“Lacy always plays defense when Marlon starts rizzing—it’s like she trains for it.”

“Bro stop playing defense and let me cook.”

caffeine dependency

When your day is so hectic with demanding rundowns, hence you literally drink more coffee than water. This situation is oftentimes also the same situation where you take many Tombocantuxin caffeine pills in a row.
With back-to-back meetings and deadlines, I’ve fallen into caffeine dependency—my coffee consumption is through the roof, and I’ve even popped a few Tombocantuxin pills to stay awake!

That depends

Entirely on whether or not that Anti-Theft is going off because I have no idea what the timeline on that would look like.
Hym "That depends. I mean, I am not thrilled with how this is shaking out. I'm going to be perfectly honest with you. You tried to steal my soul and condemn me to a life I described as hell. I am pissed about that. The contract has been fulfilled but my thing didn't even TAKE your soul and, as the contact stipulated, you will be and have been (instead) marked by the flying raijin signet so that in the event that when I die I, instead of facing God immediately, am sent to hell... I will then be able to get out and to God. Assuming of course that at least one of you goes to heaven. But that is already set in stone. We're past that. Umm... Yeah, no, I am going to be tempted to take that shit out of you collective asses though. Not going to lie. Especially if you're letting a guy pretend to be me while knowing full-well that he is not that. Ok? So. Probably. You should probably be mortified. That would be appropriate. But you don't necessarily have to be that."

Shestostani defence

The Shestostani Defence (also known as the Shesto–Yakub Defence) is a rare and unconventional chess opening for White, characterized by the early center pawn move e3 followed by Nf3, then d3 and Nc3, finalized by the moves Bd2 and Be2. A typical move order is 1. e3 g6 2. d3 3. Nf3 4. Nc3 5. Be2 6. Bd2, although other sequences are possible. It is considered a hypermodern and provocative system where White deliberately spends a tempo on a defensive move to limit Black's options and prepare a flexible, potentially fortified center.

Notable Games and Practitioners The opening is primarily associated with its creators, Shesto and Yakub, and has been featured in their online games. It has not been adopted by any notable grandmasters in classical play, but it occasionally appears in online content focused on unusual openings.

Example Line A representative line showcasing the Shestostani idea: 1. e4 g6 2. d4 Bg7 3. a3 d6 4. Nf3 Nf6 5. Nc3 O-O 6. Be2 White has achieved a solid, if somewhat passive, position reminiscent of a slow Pirc/Modern variation, but with the slight peculiarity of the a3 move included

If the Commander catches you with that class c dependant in your room, its a wrap.

Today is military appreciation day at the mall. Cool, well come go to the store with me, so I can get 10% off my purchase.
