It took so long to get checked in because even though Shauna & I and Sam & Charlotte are couples, the desk clerk gave us the scooby doo treatment.

When you live in a house with a bunch of guy friends and you don't want them to know you have a girl over, so you sneek her in through the back door.
Jon: " I want to bring Katie over tonight but the guys are going to call me a pussy whipped bitch"
Justin: " Just give her the back door treatment, theyll never know!!"

Get the Back door treatment mug.Theatre kids are definitely wrongfully stereotyped. Everyone thinks that these kids are absolute dorks and geeks, who get horny all the time and have the worst sex lives (some are lucky to have INCREDIBLE sex lives, though), but to every single person out there who has ever thought that... YOU'RE WRONG.
Theatre kids are the absolute BEST types of people you will ever meet, depending on where you go for school. You should be warned that theatre is MOST DEFINITELY a CULT. The frontrunners of this cult are known as "theatre geeks", who are destined to a life in either musical theatre/Broadway, or the movie industry. However, these kids are mostly accepting, kind, and good-hearted, as much as they are loud, outgoing, and sometimes crazy (but in a good way). Again, this mostly depends on the kids involved with theatre at your school. Sometimes, theatre kids are also known as musical theatre kids, but that all depends on whether or not they like to sing. Theatre kids don't have to be actors, as they can also be "techies", which are the stage crew people. Nonetheless, NEVER JUDGE ANY OF THEM. 9 times out of 10, they're really awesome kids and you should get to know them better. :)
How do I know? Because I AM a theatre kid myself.

Person 1: Hey, you see those theatre dorks over there?
Person 2: Shut up, everyone knows that they're not dorks. They're theatre KIDS.

Get the witches teat mug.Theater and School for Improv and Sketch Comedy. Pretty much run by Armando Diaz protege of Del Close.
Super supportive non judgemental community.
To be honest when it started it was pretty rusty ... kind of a rag tag group of UCB cast offs. For a while alot of people stayed away because it was thought that if you couldn't cut it at UCB you went there ... to the land of misfit improvisers.
Now the place is booming with talent. People who got sick of the attitudes of other improv theaters attitudes but love to perform and take classes have started trickling in. You can catch some really terrific shows here. The classes are among the best in the city. Clique's are really at a minimum and trash talk is not accepted well.
It's still small but growing rapidly. Kind of a "everybody knows your name" place - the "Cheers" of the NY Improv Scene.
