While the sincerity coming from the poisoned individual may, in fact, feel real to them, others around them will often identify it as fraudulent or overly nice.

Nuclear fallout from power plants or weapons can have significant effects even when small amounts are released.
Global poisoning may dwarf the harmful effects of global warming and give India and China as examples.
