An activity, done by males, in which a beer or refreshing drink in a can is opened. This is done by a group of people (better known as "the boys")

(Typically done on a Saturday)

To set one's affairs in order after an extended absence. Etymologically derived from when someone stole your soup, and you had to check their chin for remnants.

Chin checking is a common practice in low-income neighborhoods where infidelity runs rampant. In low-income neighborhoods where infidelity does not run rampant, it hardly occurs. Chin checking is referred to as "Hush up, Brandeen" by honkies.

Drat, while in prison, my girlfriend has become disloyal. Chin checking must ensue, as a matter of postindustrial honor!
