A portmanteau of blog and essay, coined by British comedian, author, and television host Stephen Fry.

These entries are considerably longer than a typical blog post, and more thoughtfully composed. Their serious nature allows for both intelligent rumination and sly wit.

I hope Stephen's arm heals so that he can write another blessay soon.

A Wiccan expression that carries the equivalent meaning to one of the following phrases: “Take care”, “God bless you” or “Good grief!”.

May also used in a similar context to “goodbye” and less commonly as “hello”.
