Yaoi refers to a comic or animated episode of japanese origin that contains two or more men having sex with each other. Yaoi is typically created by women to be read by others of the female gender however, men do in some cases, make yaoi. The word yaoi is also used to describe romantic BL anime and manga. Examples of Yaoi include: The Titan's Bride, Sasaki and Miyano and JoJo's bizarre adventure.

The word “yaoi” is another way to say gay, bl, shounen-ai and boy x boy. It’s basically a sexual or romantic relationship between 2 males together. Mostly fan girls fantasize over yaoi manga, anime or even TV series. Girls who like or have an interest in yaoi are therefore also called as “fujoshi” also known as “rotten girl”, on the other hand, boys who like or have an interest in yaoi are however Called as “fundanshi” also known as “rotten boy”.
