1) Society dictates that "ugly" means "not attractive", and use it as a derogatory term.

2) The philosophy of people with working brains is that "ugly" stands for "U Gotta Love Yourself".

1) Nicki Minaj is ugly. (While I really don't like her, calling her ugly is just for an example)
