torment nexus

A phrase referring to when a company makes something from a piece of media that points out why it’s a bad idea. It comes from a post in which a tech company invents an object called the Torment Nexus, which was found in the (fictional) book Don’t Create the Torment Nexus.

Guy 1: “Dude, have you heard that they’re making a Squid Game reality show?”
Guy 2: “Yeah, they’re totally creating the Torment Nexus with that one.”

Tormentor

One who torments without mercy or a care in the world and stalks at night. It also has a big impact on Metal as over 340 Metal bands have made a song with "Tormentor" implanted in the song title, the most famous songs called "Tormentor" are by
Slayer - Tormentor - Show No Mercy
Destruction - Tormentor - Infernal Overkill
Kreator - Tormentor - Endless Pain (Kreator original went under the name "Tormentor")
There is also 17 bands who go under the name "Tormentor" but the most famous of them all is Tormentor From Hungary.

The most common and distributed Magic : The Gathering card around. It is absolutely anywhere in the hands of a kid, usually a non-player.

An unholy downpour that inundates everything with fantastic amounts of liquid. Alternatively, something that moves with such force and in such great quantity that it cannot be diverted, avoided, or stopped.

The torrential rain caused massive flooding.

When questioned about her hoe-riffic behavior, her "explanation" was an exquisitely horrid torrential outburst of profanity.
