rock-thirty

the time that a typical rock show starts. This can be useful to indicate to people when to come to a show, but also to indicate that it's kind of not specified (and will most likely start late). Obviously it's somewhat subjective and will change depending on location. If all bars close at 2AM, for example, rock-thirty is probably around 10:30-11PM.

wannabe groupie: Oh, you're playing at the club tonight? what time?
guitar player: rock-thirty, baby.
wannabe groupie: oh, that's kind of late for me, but have fun!!

Dirty Thirty

A case of Keystone Light beer. 30 cans... Popular at high school and college parties because of the beverage's affordable cost in comparison to other beers. The term "dirty thirty" was coined in reference to the beer's lackluster if not downright "dirty" taste, and quantity of 30 cans of beer in the package. Despite its shortcomings, eager drunkards across the great u.s. of a. are willing keep their costs down on the shillings to shitfaced (s.t.s.) ratio scale so that the former number can be achieved for a lower price.

"Hey Tom's house is open tonight. I'm going to swing by the Shell and pick up a dirty thirty."

Pour thirty

Knocking off work half an hour early (for example, at 4:30) to get a drink. Usually on a Friday, but usable any day of the week.

Co-worker: Hey, did you see the e-mail I just sent?

You: Sorry man, it's pour thirty and I'm ready to get my drink on.
