The derogatory term used to describe one's addiction to Facebook. It may also be called 'face sitting' for short.

I could not stop Facebook sitting yesterday, I didn't get anything done.

1) A lesson in which you do nothing
2) A smaller version of a party in which you sit round and drink with slightly less people.

When one gets an erection from sitting down in one place for an extended period of time. I.E. Airplane, train, bus.

Having no fucking clue on a situation or discussion.
May also be used if feeling tired or out of place and not knowing what to do.

Bob - "Do you understand the maths question?"
MC Monty - "Nah Im sitting in the gaff right now."

An aged insult, possibly pre-dating the era of disco; equivalent of go fuck yourself. Often used to impute arrogance to the object of the phrase.

"Go sit on it and spin," she said, disgusted.

cold sit

In harness racing this is the position of the horse directly behind the leading horse against the inside running rail during the race. For most horses it is the preferred position to win from.

At the trots it is better for the horse you bet on to have the cold sit rather than the death seat.
