A formally derogatory term denoting a lack of class. One day a bunch of high people decided they liked the sound of this word, and to redefine it to mean something good. What exactly was never specified just that it was good. Seems to work well with the word "absolutely"

Get the Ratchetmug. A person who is characterized as "dirty" or "ghetto". It is another way to describe someone who is trashy. Someone who is ratchet is usually perceived as undesirable and unappealing.
"Hey, did you see that girl walking down the street?"
"Yea! She was so ratchet! Her feet were dirty and her weave was falling out."

Get the Ratchetmug. Ratchet is a giant sentient alien robot from the planet Cybertron. He was introduced in Generation 1 (1984), and was originally going to be a female. He is a medic, and named after Nurse Ratched.
In the fandom, he is known for having a grouchy attitude and also throws either a scanner or tool (usually a wrench) when pissed. Tends to curse quite a lot as well.
This grouchy attitude becomes cannon in Transformers Animated, and makes a return in Transformers Prime.
He is usually red/rust orange and white with blue eyes, though the exception being the Micheal Bay movies in which he is a lime yellow/lime green (fans still fight over this)
He always takes the form of an ambulance, the only exception being the Micheal Bay movies in which he is a hummer. (Though seems to be modified to be some form of an ambulance)
