The Klein Effect

A subset of the Streisand Effect (trying to hide information, resulting in greater awareness of the information), the Klein Effect is when an effort to bring down a peer's career only results in elevating them to greater success, usually damaging one's own reputation in the process.

Named after Ethan Klein, a content creator who frequently tries to get his perceived enemies kicked off their platforms, only for those enemies to gain a larger following and mainstream recognition for their work, while his viewership and reputation circles the drain.

Esteban tried to get Hank fired from his job with a bunch of unsubstantiated and exaggerated rumors, but because of The Klein Effect, Hank actually got way more popular and received many new opportunities from his job, and nobody wants to work with Esteban anymore.

A German town in Texas? How original. Klein is pretty cool I mean at least it isn't full of crackheads and meth addicts like Willis and Conroe. The schools here are nice cause they have good budgets, Klein Highschool is the best 😎. Klein is really just Tomball I don't know why it isn't part of the city. That's really all there is to say about it.

Klein is cool but I wish I could be in Houston right about now.
