Fourth Wave

Fourth revival of ska music (the original being in jamaica in the late '60s, second wave or two-tone surfaced in the late '70s, and third wave hit in the late '80s and early '90s).

Many claim that the fourth wave is imminent, ready to appear anytime between now and the early 2010s.

Others claim the 4th wave is already here, heralded by Tomas Kalnoky's band Streetlight Manifesto and side project Bandits of the Acoustic Revolution. (There is a streetlight manifesto song titled "riding the fourth wave")

While some people are excited about the fourth wave of ska, others worry that ska is too diluted and growing farther from its roots.

Foutre can mean two things:

1. The verb "foutre": je fous, tu fous, etc... is slang for "faire" (to do, see Ex 1a) or "mettre" (to put, see Ex 1b).

2. As a noun, refers to male's cum (sperm).

There are also awesome french expressions: "Va te faire foutre" (maybe a synonym for "fuck you") and also "J'en ai rien a foutre" or "Je m'en fous (completement)" (I (really) don't give a shit).

1a. "Qu'est-ce que tu fous ?" What are you doing?

1b. "Elle aime quand je lui fous mon doigt dans la chatte" She likes it when I stick my finger in her pussy.

Airborne military term for your ass. The five points of contact for landing after a parachute jump are (in order), 1. balls of feet, 2. heels of feet, 3. thighs, 4. ass, and 5. shoulder blades.

Term usually used to describe one who needs to pull their heads out of their ass.
